The ever cucumber cool Inzi stood between victory and defeat as he led his team to a great victory chasing an improbable target of 316. The stage was set - 1 ball to go, 2 runs to score, the bowler - Sachin Tendulkar, the batsman - Inzamam Ul Haq, the ball - an off-break outside the off stump, the shot - a cut piercing the field and racing to the fence! 4 runs it was and Pakistan won the thriller to level the series. Every single top order batsmen from the Pakistani team contributed to surpass the target. Indian bowlers did all they could, but were never able to get a break through. The boundaries were a rare occurrence, but the scoreboard kept ticking - the lesson - it is not important to score boundaries to win matches! It was a perfect exemplar for a team effort and ultimately the leader seeing them through towards the end!

Earlier in the Indian innings, Sachin Tendulkar raced to his 38th century, which later turned out to be for lost cause. However, it was very important for Sachin to get into the groove who has gone without a century for a year now. Dhoni came good and so did Yuvraj with a quick fire unbeaten knock of 35. As with the Indian fielding, they simply failed to check the run rate, by giving away too many singles and extras adding to the frustration. In the end - it was Pakistan who emerged victorious - adding more excitement to the series, which is now leveled at 2-2!
