India vs Pakistan - THE Stage is set....
There is no other cricket series in the world currently that attracts so much attention among the public. The rivalry is un-matched, the voltage is really high, the environment is electrifying, the players are charged up - India vs Pakistan - the series has it all!!! Cricket lovers not only in India and Pakistan, but all over the world tend to keep a tab on the matches. The stage is set for the first test match and there have been so many controversies surrounding the Indian team and Ganguly has become synonymous to controversy! Its time to put everything behind and concentrate on cricket. Let the better team take the honors!
It will be interesting to see what the think tank will decide on the playing XI. Guess it finally boils down to who will play in the XI - Yuvraj or Ganguly. Million $ question - probably one of the toughest decisions for Dravid since the time he took over as a full time skipper. Barring Gavaskar's statement to play three openers, the rest of the team is pretty much decided. Probably they will opt for Jaffer to open with Sehwag. Its a tough one between Yuvraj and Ganguly - experience or form?!? Its easy to say form, but with experience - its just takes one match to get back into form. Ganguly can make a decent bowler as well and can afford to give a balance. On the other hand, Yuvraj is in prime form and will let nothing go past him in the field. There may have been so many things against Ganguly, but it will be good to persist with him for another 2 innings!
Will Sehwag and Dhoni tear apart the attack? Will "The Wall" and "Master Blaster" do what best they can do? Will VVS Laxman be "Very Very Special"? Will Pathan swing it in India's favor? Will the spin duo make the difference? We will have to wait and see...mind you Pakistan is becoming a stronger side day by day! They are fresh out of a big series win against England. They are mentally strong and the home advantage would tilt the scales towards them. Their bowlers are raring to go and would have all the ammunitions for the Indian batsmen...its gonna be an interesting tussle! Go India Go...

Hi Vijay,
Man you write really very well. Keep the good job up.
Very interesting, I am so looking forward to this series. Indian surely has the upper hand in terms of Batting & overall confidence.
