India vs SL - 2nd ODI - India scores an emphatic victory…

India - 123/2 in 20.2 overs
Pathan and Sachin sparkled yet again as India scored an astounding win over the Lankans. In a pitch that had a lot of dew, Dravid put in the Sri Lankans first and was completely backed by some great swing bowling from Pathan. Pathan ripped through the Sri Lankan top order to claim 4 wickets. Sangakara showed some resistance, but it was not sufficient to stop the Lankan slide. Had it not been for the late order unorthodox stokes, the score card would have been even more pathetic.
Tendulkar came out to bat where he had left in the previous innings producing some masterful stroke play. Sehwag feasted well on the hapless Sri Lankan bowling before falling to a rash shot. It was too less a score to defend for the Sri Lankan bowlers and India completed an emphatic victory, their 2nd in as many games. Tendulkar was not out at 67 and re-affirmed his stature as one of the world’s best batsmen. Dravid made a right comment about how India should not get complacent, hope it is not just in words. It was a good day at work for the Indians. Ganguly has not been picked for the next 3 ODIs. Are these signs of the end of the road for poor Ganguly’s one day career????
