Cricket: Acid test for India
Its acid test for Indian cricket. A sweep of 4-0 would take a deep impact in the confidence of Team India and definitely put them under immense pressure. Already the fans back home have lost faith and the politicians have started embarking into their trip of criticizing the coach and demanding the board to sack the coach, bring about drastic changes to team, etc. Well, if this is what they discuss in the Lok Sabha, am concerned about the Country India.
Anywayz, the last one day will probably include Laxman and see Sehwag leading the team. This could very well be the last taste as a captain or vice captain for Sehwag for a very long time. There are news floating around that he was doomed by his attitude. Hopefully the move is good as he can concentrate on his batting.
The big turn around of events has been the inclusion of Ganguly in the squad. Well, whatever everyone may say about the former captain, he definitely was responsible for turning the Indian cricket team as a force to reckon with. He stood behind his team and groomed youngsters. As a player his performance dipped and there are no excuses for that. Hope he is able to knock the ball around as he used to in the past. To me, he should definitely play atleast in the one dayers, open the batting along with Sehwag or Tendulkar. If he gets going, there is no stopping Dada!
So, its down to the 5th one day in the serier, wish Team India good luck and hope the politicians shut their mouth for the rest of the series! Go India go...

The way the 5th one dayer is going on, its sure to be yet another disaster. Laxman was flown in only to get a very very special first ball duck.
I doubt if good luck and best wishes are the order of things required for India, they need a miracle.
Do you need a Go India Go...?!?

@former cricket fan - Funny. Yet another disaster and seems like its a disease!
Well the Go India Go ... is to ask India to Go to India Go...they should not be continuing to play in SA to avoid further debacles!

Ha Ha! Go to India Go! Awesome and apt caption. Don't think they should consider playing the tests!

India is supposedly ranked better in tests...so hope they can rejuvinate themselves and find the groove.
I think India was performing below par in all departments. Can't agree that they were very good in bowling. I can't comment on fielding as I did not watch the games.
The test matches will be a good test I guess...lets wait and see what happens...

Our cricketers don't care about no tests. As long as they have a constant revenue from ads they don't give a damm.
