India-Pak 1st Test Day V - Akmal and Razzaq deny India a victory

Believe it or not! The First Test match between India and Pakistan ended in a tame draw! On Day IV the possibility of a draw was never on the cards. Bravo - Razzaq and Akmal! What a performance?!? India is claiming to a world beater - c'mon - they were unable to wrap up the tail with more than 3 sessions - that is atrocious. Not to take away credit from these two batsmen - India will have to look back in disgrace to have let this Test match slip away from its clumsy grip!

Pakistan declared their innings at 497/9 and set a target of 293 from 25 overs. India had no way to get anywhere close to the target. Its an irony that had India played with more resolute on Day III - maybe things would have been different. But it is easy to talk in retrospect - so lets wait for the Second Test match and see what happens. All said and done - its advantage Pakistan! India should axe Laxman and bring in Kaif. Zaheer should be rested and Bhajji should come in.
